What’s Up for the New Year?

As we begin 2017, it is our hope that you will take advantage of the many opportunities at OFBC to grow in your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Home group Bible studies are a great way to cultivate a deeper understanding of God’s word, as well as meaningful relationships in the body of Christ.

Whether it is our TREK Youth program, our AWANA children’s Bible Club, or our weekly Sunday School classes, the discipleship of our young people in the Lord continues to be a priority for us.

Gathering together for worship as a church family continues to be a tremendous blessing as we share praises and prayer needs, as we worship through Christ-exalting music, and as we give attention to the preaching of the word of God.

We at OFBC desire to know Christ and to make Him known!

AWANA ending April 20th

The AWANA program will be ending with an awards ceremony on April 20th at 6:00 pm.  Please  invite your family and friends to watch as we honor all of our kids’ achievements over the past year.  Many kids will be earning their final badges and book awards for finishing their books.  We hope to see you there!

Men’s Sunday School Class Starts 1/3/2016

This Sunday we will begin a new study of the letter to Titus in our Men’s Sunday School Class. We hope you can join us at 9:30!

“Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.” Titus 2:-1314

Mid-Week Prayer Meeting: Wednesdays at 5:00 pm

(2 Ch 7:14)  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
We want to invite you to a weekly opportunity to pray together as a body. No doubt, all of you are faithfully upholding your family, church, and community in prayer regularly. However, I believe there is a blessing reserved for those times when God’s people gather together for prayer to seek His face. Let us show the Lord that we still believe 2 Chronicles 7:14 is true for our times, for our church, and for our valley.

There will be a prayer meeting starting this week every Wednesday at 5:00 pm in the sanctuary.

May God bless it for His glory!
